Sports Injury Assessment
Sports injuries can arise due to a slight imbalance in your muscles, stiffness in your joints, poor flexibility or a need to alter your technique. Our highly experienced sports physiotherapists understand the mechanics of each sport and will undertake a full sports injury assessment. Following this assessment we will work with you to prepare a comprehensive programme to prepare you to participate in your chosen activity.
Many of our clients have found that the sooner you come to us for an assessment the better. However, don’t worry if you have already started training and have some niggles, we can undertake a sports injury assessment, treat your niggles and help you to avoid further injury.

We offer sports therapy and sports rehabilitation as an integral part of our physiotherapy in Swale. As sports injuries can be highly complex and multi-faceted, accurate diagnosis, appropriate management and effective treatment are essential. Our specialist sports physiotherapists have spent many years enhancing their skills and have lots of experience helping runners, cyclists, tennis players, golfers, triathletes, footballers, rugby players, rowers and swimmers at recreational and elite levels.
At our sports therapy clinics our therapists work with patients in early, mid and late rehabilitation to provide expert injury diagnosis, soft tissue mobilisation and release based on their expert knowledge of the anatomy and the biomechanics of the human body. Our treatment and exercise programmes help to return each client to full function and we provide detailed training advice to avoid future injuries and improve technique.
“Consummate professional... will recommend to friends and family and return for future sports massages.” Mr Bennet, May 2016
Sports and remedial massage can be used for the prevention, recognition and treatment of a wide range of injuries. It has many benefits including healing from injury, pain relief, improved circulation, accelerated recovery and improved strength. We work closely with a number of sports clubs and professional athletes who book in regular massage to promote faster recovery between training sessions and prevent injury.
Sports massage isn’t just for sportswomen and sportsmen, it can be used to promote health and wellbeing by getting rid of your aches and pains and returning you to full fitness irrespective of your sporting participation. Our clients often recommend our clinic to friends and family for sports therapy or sports massage to support the healing process following any type of injury.
